Moving Hands: Expressions of Art and Deafness

A Group Art Show
This juried exhibit, on display July 6 – 27, will feature local artists with a connection to Rochester’s Deaf community. The show will focus on individual experiences related to Deafness while exploring how we express ourselves through art and the role that art can play in communication. Participants are encouraged to explore this theme in whatever way feels relevant to them, and in any medium.  Accepted works will be available for sale through the gallery. A percentage of proceeds will benefit the Rochester Deaf Rotary. This show will open on Saturday, July 6th from 6-9 pm with many of the contributing artists in attendance.

We are very excited to announce the artists that will be showing their works in this exhibition:

  • Vicki Campos-Hamilton

  • Karen Christie

  • Kelsey Wall

  • Laural Hartman

  • Laurie Monahan
